Trouble Shoot The Official hCG Diet

The official hCG diet is one of the most efficient and rapid ways to lose weight when it is conducted properly. You can expect to lose 1/2 to 1 pound of fat a day with no exercise and a pound to 3 pounds a day with exercise.
So Why Did I Stall On The Official hCG Diet?
Here are a few things you need to check right away if you haven’t lost weight in 3 days while strictly following the official hCG protocol.
- Are you handling fat? It is so easy to do. Maybe you are handling cheese or meat when you are making the kid’s lunches or you are using lotions that contain fat. Fat absorbs through the skin directly into the blood stream where it seems to confuse the hypothalamus. If you eat fat, it is digested and so it won’t have the same effect. (As long as you are within guidelines.) For skin care use these.
- Sweeteners may be the culprit. The official hCG diet only allows Stevia as a sweetener so if you have stopped losing weight, it may be the diet soda’s or sugar free gum you are using. It should be noted that many people suffer no stoppage of weight loss while using these products. It appears to be an individual reaction to them.
- Another official hCG diet buster is not getting enough sleep. If you don’t get your full 7 to 8 hours of sleep, it will stunt or even stop your weight loss.
- Salt can also cause an apparent stall in weight loss. I say apparent, because it is really water retention that is stopping the weight loss, but the official hCG diet is still burning your fat.
- Not drinking enough water is another thing that can stop weight loss on the Official hCG diet. You need to get around 64 oz. of water a day if you can. I know that is a lot, but you will be pleased with the results every time you see yourself in the mirror. (Which should be quite a lot since you will be going to the bathroom frequently at first.)
The Official HCG Diet Nuclear Option
If you can’t figure out why you have stalled and it has been more than 3 days, then you may want to do an apple day. The official hCG diet has what is called an apple day. This is where you eat only 6 apples in one 24 hour period along with at least 8 glasses of water. Believe me you will lose a lot of weight.
This will also get you on track to losing fat again with the official hCG diet and that will make you happy.
